The Main Event

The Institute for Public Policy and Education (IPPE) is hosting a public policy forum focusing on the Filipino Veterans' issues.  Many years of broken promises and disparate benefits have taken a toll on these soldiers and scouts who served our country over sixty one years ago. Scores of them are now gone but for those who are still with us their dream lives on.  The Filipino Veterans Equity issues are now at the forefront of our nation being discussed and negotiated in the halls and chambers of the United States Congress.

It is for this reason that IPPE is bringing together Filipino Veterans, Members of the United States Congress, Federal Agency Administrators, legislative policy advocates and officials from the Republic of the Philippines. Stakeholders who have an interest in these issues will be at the table for the purpose of communication and education in a common forum.

IPPE's goal is to educate not only the Filipino Veterans on the current status of legislation, but also the decision makers. Following the forum a benefit concert will be presented. Proceeds from this concert will be used to further the purposes of the organization which would include education, promotion, and the establishment of a scholarship endowment fund.

We invite you to take part in this event that recognizes the past and celebrates the future.
